Diverse Services for Diverse Students
As an educator for over 27 years, my emphasis has always been on helping my students navigate life’s transitions and reach their full potential. I specialize in serving “outside the box” students, and have had the pleasure and privilege of providing individualized tutoring, academic advising, college counseling, and other support services to a variety of high school and college students, including:
- Homeschoolers, including independent, self-directed learners and students enrolled in a distance learning or umbrella school program
- Students with learning disabilities
- Autistic students
- LGBTQ students, including transgender students
- Valedictorians and salutatorians
- C students
- Alternative school students
- Private college prep school students
- Waldorf students
- ESL students
- Professional and pre-professional artists, dancers, musicians, and actors
- Late and second-chance applicants
- Gap year students
- Expats around the world (and even a few who are sailing around the world!)
I’m lucky enough to live in the vibrant college town of Ann Arbor, Michigan. When I’m not busy serving students, I enjoy playing Scrabble and ping pong, reading lots and lots of books, walking my dog in all kinds of weather, and traveling the world.
I look forward to getting to know you!
