The best way to predict the future is to create it. – Abraham Lincoln

Philosophy and Approach

Learning is not attained by chance, it must be sought for with ardor,

and attended to with diligence. – Abigail Adams

My goal is to support high school and college students in a way that meets their own individual goals and needs and empowers them to know themselves, love themselves, and be their best selves.

I strive to give students an opportunity to develop an awareness of their unique passions, strengths, talents, interests, skills, learning styles, values, personality, goals, and available resources in order to help them create a strong list of “good fit” colleges (and/or other post-secondary options) that will give them the opportunity to challenge themselves to grow, learn, contribute to their community, and find purpose and pleasure in their education and future endeavors.

I am passionate about helping students see they have college and career options and the power to personalize their journeys, and I’m passionate about helping them access whatever vehicles they need to get where they’re going in life.

I love collecting information, ideas, and resources to share with students and families in order to help them make decisions they can feel good about. And I love working together to maximize a student’s chance of finding colleges that are a good fit, gaining admissions to the colleges of their choice, and launching a rewarding career.

Success is not final. Failure is not fatal.

It is the courage to continue that counts. – Winston Churchill
